How Are TheCarKid's prices so low?
A: The pricing structure is based off mass market volume purchases, e.g. where a regular store might purchase 100 toys, TheCardKid will purchase 100,000 toys. Manufacturers are able to offer TheCardKid lower costs because of this volume purchasing, and TheCardKid can then offer lower prices to its customers.
TheCardKid also maintains an active Trading Department which buys and sells products on the secondary market.
How do Pre-Orders work?
At any one time, there can be as many as 10,000 different products available for Pre-Order. The best way to find items available for 'Pre-Order' is to type in the word "PRESELL" and your keyword (like "toy") into the search bar.
A Pre-Order is when TheCardKid has reserved a certain product from the manufacturer that has not yet been released. TheCardKid can then 'reserve' that product for a customer so that it can be shipped to them the day before release.
All Pre-Orders will ship the DAY BEFORE the release date unless otherwise noted.
Products will usually become available for Pre-Order about 60 DAYS BEFORE THEIR RELEASE DATE. If you see an unavailable product that you would like to pre-order or are wondering if TheCardKid will be pre-selling the product, please contact our sales department at sales@thecardkid.com.
How does Shipping work with TheCardKid?
TheCardKid ships to all locations domestic and international unless specially noted otherwise on a product.
SAME DAY SHIPPING: Online weekday orders placed BEFORE 1:00pm MST (12:00pm PMT, 2:00pm CMT, 3:00pm EST) will ship out the same day unless otherwise noted. Weekend orders will be shipped the following Monday.
Available shipping methods: UPS and USPS are the standard methods. For items less than 2 lbs, USPS First Class and Priority Mail will be used for 'Standard Shipping'. All orders are automatically insured at the Free Insurance level for that carrier (e.g. UPS, $100 etc). Customers can purchase additional insurance by request. This means if you do not purchase Insurance and the carrier loses your package, it is up to the carrier to refund you, not TheCardKid. FedEx, DHL, freight, in store pickup, and other methods are available upon request.
What is TheCardKid's return policy?
TheCardKid guarantees all products to arrive in the condition described on the website. Any products not meeting this guarantee can be returned directly for a full refund or exchange. In the event of a return, please email us CustomerService@TheCardKid.com describing the situation. Return-Shipping labels are provided when necessary via email.
What is the absolute cheapest price I can get on a CardKid product?
Customers who mail or email their orders to sales@thecardkid.com, receive a valid confirmation, and then mail (physically) a Money Order or send a Wire Transfer to the corporate headquarters in Wyoming qualify for the Mail Order price which is the lowest price (2% less than the www.TheCardKid.com price). This option is used mostly by wholesale and bulk buyers.
Do you offer quantity discounts for buying multiple quantities?
All bulk discount requests must be submitted to sales@thecardkid.com for review. TheCardKid's trading department will issue a response for each request. Quantity discounts can range anywhere from 0-20%.
